We have known Marcus for a REALLY long time since he was a kid! Gareth worked for his dad for years and they became great friends, so we’ve been around him as he grew up. Such a cool situation to be asked to photograph his wedding! Teegan asked for flowers and a very summery feel, so we chose to do their engagement photos at St. Albert Botanic Park. I suggest if you choose to use this location, plan ahead! Weekdays are usually a bit quieter, so a weekday evening engagement session is a great idea.

Also, if you love the light in this session, that’s beautiful, glowing, evening light. We always suggest booking your engagement photos in the evening. The light is soft and flattering, and you just can’t beat that glow.

We walked around a lot during their engagement photos at St. Albert Botanic Park. It helps get everyone relaxed when we walk around a bit and chat. St. Albert Botanic Park has paths and flowers and lots of options for different backgrounds, so you get a lot without having to drive anywhere for two locations.

I loved hanging out with Marcus and Teegan! The weather was warm, one of those perfect summer evenings. I love being out in the community, spending time with wonderful people! I’m so smitten with how their engagement photos turned out!
