Mike and Corinne’s Edmonton Wedding was a beautiful, chilly day! When I walked into the bride’s bedroom in the morning, and saw all the balloons, I knew Corinne was surrounded by thoughtful, amazing women. The details, the extra care, all of it made for such a love filled day.
We got to know Mike when he was in his friend Kane’s wedding party (you can see their photos here!) When Mike contacted us about his wedding, we were obviously so excited. When we get referrals from a wedding party, we know that the vibe will be similar, the people will be wonderful, and we’ll vibe with them. Gareth first met with Mike and Corinne to photograph their fall engagement session (and Corinne had the cutest outfit!) you can check out their engagement session here.
The day of their wedding was windy and chilly, but these two didn’t care. They just wanted to spend the day with their friends and family, and celebrate their marriage. I honestly thought about leaving out the photos with the masks, but this is the story of their day, and this was the reality. I want to look at photos with masks and think – “love wins”. That regardless of the state of the world, people gathered in any way they could to celebrate love.
We had a fun stop at McDonald’s, which always ends up in some fun photos!
From there we headed to the U of A, which always provides a beautiful backdrop for photos.
We finished up at the Walterdale bridge.
The reception was really emotional, from big laughs to big tears. Mike and Corinne’s Edmonton Wedding was celebrated, and their crew celebrated them big.
We are so incredibly happy we were there to document your day, thank you for having us guys!
